3rd & Goal Store for Formerly Homeless Veterans

Tonight, as part of Adopt a Hero, our foundation hosted an event at the formerly homeless Veterans shelter in Columbus, OH.

Over the years, our foundation has learned that it is often a challenge for our Veterans to accept or ask for help. With that in mind, we created a store concept that helped our Veterans feel included in the process. They were able to "shop" for complimentary items around the room as we setup for them the"3rd & Goal Holiday Store".

A total of 73 formerly homeless Veterans joined us at the event. They each collected items such as a meal, socks, blankets, shirts, a stocking filled with hygiene products, shoes, hats and gloves.
